... No, seriously. eur0philia and I are co-organizing a Trinity Blood cosplay group for Sydney Animania 2010, and we’d like very much for any of you guys to come join. I think for most of us, costumes of this level will be an exceptional & inspiring challenge? It’ll be a great experience for anyone who has been interested in cosplaying from the fandom :D

I know I told a few of you that this was gonna be for SMASH but Christie was right: our huge costumes/props will be too big for SMASH >_>;; so Animania it is.

Gakuen Heaven Shoot :'(

Most of you already know that the Gakuen Heaven photoshoot that was scheduled for this weekend has now been delayed to SUNDAY OCTOBER 11TH due to circumstances that couldn't be helped. I wanted to apologize to the photographers on behalf of everyone - sorry about this. (It's sad that it's been pushed back 3 months, but at least I'd finished my Kazuki costume, so I don't have to think about it!)


Espada Group Meeting

--is scheduled for this Friday at 6pm at Ajisen Ramen (across Paddy's Markets) to discuss COSTUME PROGRESS, SKIT and PHOTOSHOOT. So far everyone's coming except for rayfy who has his weekly BFF Friday with Eric :P bubblefire I know you're sick so could you let me know if you're coming or not? It's okay if you don't. (In fact, are you still coming to Manifest? Have you got your HSC timetable?)

I'll send around another email tomorrow just in case Steve some people accidentally miss this entry again :P


Deimon Group Meeting

--is scheduled for Sunday August 2nd, so please keep that date free, fellow bats ♥ more details to come. That will be a sewing day for our costumes & also for SKIT and PHOTOSHOOT discussion. I left a message with our Hiruma & Sena and am waiting to hear back from them to see if it's alright to come to their house to do the mass sewing. Silver & Ray's birthdays are about one week apart in mid-July and they decided to hold a joint party which has now been confirmed to be SUNDAY, JULY 19. Please keep this date free 'coz they'd like you to come! After all, they have to celebrate getting old :P

I HAD LIKE THE MOST EPIC DAY YESTERDAY ZOMG.

First of all, thanks so much to rayfy, itakoaya (bahaha until 2am, ILU SO HARD ITA xDDD), ravient and kaiya02 (even though you left early! Wish you could've stayed!) for the AWESOME super-long epic chat/gossip session that lasted for hours with dinner. I totally had a blast, we were lol'ing all the way through, and we all ... well, managed to successfully open a few doors that had been previously closed. That was like, the most epic bonding session evaaar. xDDD I would do it again in a heartbeat. ♥

Secondly, thank you and much love to everyone for coming to the fabric-shopping yesterday! I think we managed to get everyone's stuff for Gakuen Heaven (and ES21 too, actually)? I'm not sure if we're missing a few buttons and we're still waiting on the gold bias which will be distributed to everyone at glorfindel's party, but we have most of what we need. So until July, happy sewing my BL family!

Speaking of which, in case you guys aren't aware, the date of the GH photoshoot'll be set according to Silver's uni work and overseas trip, so she's the one who's deciding on the date ... yesterday she mentioned that the weekend of July 25/26 would be best - so we may have the shoot on either one of those two days. What do you guys think?

And if you could, please everyone keep the weekend of July 18/19 free too ;) those dates are around the times of Silver and rayfy's birthdays, and I believe they're planning something! <3

A handful of you may know already that some of us have got a Gakuen Heaven cosplay group in the works - we're planning to have a photoshoot sometime in mid-July (which means it'll take place sometime in between Sydney Supanova and SMASH). This can be changed depending on everyone's availabilities though.

We'd like to invite any of our beloved flist / cosplay buddies to join us! :D It's one of the loveliest BL anime out there. The uniforms are easy, can be sewn in a night for those of you with fast hands:

Please take note that the meeting time has been changed to 11AM at Kino! I got a request from Bubble to make the meeting time earlier because some people were leaving super-early.

We've also changed the restaurant to Fujiya. Pepper Lunch was a bit unreliable in the booking-of-tables department, so we thought it'd be better not to risk it. Sorry about all this.

asdfhlks this'll be my first time cosplaying a character with light hair D: I have a rather dark skin tone so I normally cosplay characters with dark hair (contrast reduction). I hope it'll turn out okay <33

Yes, I'm still alive. Sorry if I haven't been online much to read and comment on your entries in the last few days - there was a blackout at my place a week or so ago, and the Internet totally died D: we got ourselves a new modem though, so it's all good now.

And a big big sorry to those of you who made a drabble request - I'm still working on them which is pretty pathetic considering how long it's been D: my writer's block is really a block.

Dress: Cosplaaayy ~ it's okay to use one of your old costumes or do your own interpretation of a costume or a really easy costume, but we'd love to see people in costumes :D ♥

Madara, Nadleeh and I will be cosplaying The Bando Spiders Trio, the first of our gazillion future Eyeshield cosplays.
